Our giant snakes and ladders is a 3m x 3m board where the players are the counters: roll the dice, step forward, climb the ladders and try not to slide down a snake. It's £30 to hire (£18 for a second day), and children and adults can play together.
What do you get?
The board is a 3m x 3m mat, like our giant draughts, and the dice is about a foot square, so even the little ones can roll it.
How much room does it need?
The board is about 10ft square, and you'll need a space of about 12ft x 12ft so there's room to walk round it. It goes outside on grass, where we peg the corners down, or indoors on a hard floor, and it doesn't need power. Like everything we hire under £50, it's hired with other items, not on its own.
