Make sure it fits first time
Planning a party is exciting, and in most cases goes well; however, we highly recommend you measure the area the inflatable is going in, or get us to measure.
What is the measuring service?
Our measuring service is a pre-booking add-on where we visit your venue and measure the available space for your chosen inflatable or package. It's currently £25, anywhere in our normal delivery area.
It's not just measuring. We check the full required space and the ground, including:
- Safety clearance around the inflatable
- Ceiling height (including beams, lights and fixtures)
- Access routes, doors, corridors and corners
- Power location and setup position
- Whether the ground is flat enough, as gardens often slope
This makes sure your booking is suitable for the venue and follows RPII guidance and the BS EN 14960 safety standard.
Why measuring matters
Many inflatables need more space than their bounce area size.
For example, a castle listed as 12ft x 15ft may need extra clearance on all sides and a specific ceiling height.
Without proper measuring, this can lead to:
We did one in Leamington where we went to check a garden, and it was on too much of a slope for a castle. If we hadn't checked first, we would have turned up on the day and had to cancel. It's always best to check first.
Our measuring service removes that risk.

- We arrange a visit at a convenient time
- We confirm what fits, or suggest safe alternatives
