Our giant pick up sticks are £10 to hire (£6 for a second day). It's the old tabletop game made big: about 20 wooden sticks, each about a metre long. You drop them in a pile, then take turns lifting one stick at a time without moving any of the others. It's best for children from 5 up to adults.
Is it harder at this size?
Yes, and that's the fun of it. With metre-long sticks, a tiny wobble at one end moves the whole pile, so it's trickier than it looks, for adults as well as children.
It's not an inflatable, so it can go on the grass, on a patio or indoors in a hall.
What goes with it?
