Cancellation, Reschedule & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to work with you. Please take a moment to read through our cancellation, reschedule, and refund terms below.


Cancellation by Best Party Hire

  • If Best Party Hire cancels due to dangerous weather conditions (for example, strong winds or heavy rain), we will:

    • Offer to exchange items for something more suitable,

    • Reschedule your booking, or

    • Provide a full refund, including your booking fee.

  • If cancellation is due to incorrect information provided by the customer (for example, unsuitable access, unsafe environment, or inaccurate space measurements), we will not be able to offer a refund. Where possible, we will offer to exchange items for alternatives that fit the space or situation.


Cancellation or Reschedule by the Hirer

  • Only the person named on the booking can request a cancellation or reschedule.

  • A reschedule can be made up to 14 days before the event date. Any attempt to reschedule within the final 14 days will be treated as a cancellation.

  • To cancel or reschedule, you must:

    1. Confirm by email using the same email address used at booking.

    2. Wait for our confirmation email – this is proof that your booking has been updated. Please keep it safe.


Cancellation Fees

Private & School Bookings

  • 14 days or more notice – 100% refund (minus the booking fee)

  • 7–14 days notice – 50% refund (minus the booking fee)

  • Less than 7 days notice – no refund, and any outstanding balance will still be due in full

Business, Organisation & Charity Bookings

  • 28 days or more notice – 100% refund (minus the booking fee)

  • Less than 28 days notice – no refund, and any outstanding balance will still be due in full


Important Notes

  • Booking fees are non-refundable.

  • If a booking has an outstanding balance within 7 days of the event date, it will be cancelled and the equipment released for other customers. Any payments already made will not be refunded.

  • For bookings made less than 14 days before the event date, full payment is required within 24 hours of booking to secure your items.
