Once the weather turns in autumn, a lot of parties move indoors, into village halls and community centres. The thing that decides which castle you can have isn't the floor space, it's the ceiling: most of our castles need between 9.9ft and 10.7ft of height, and the adult castle needs 12.6ft. Here's what we've learned about fitting castles into halls round Warwickshire.
How much height does a castle need?
These are the heights our castles need, including the space above for safe bouncing:
Soft play doesn't need any height to speak of, so it's the safe choice for a low hall or for little ones.
Halls where the ceiling makes a difference
A lot of halls are fine, but some need a bit of thought:
If you've already booked your hall, tell us which one and we'll let you know what fits. Our venue guide has write-ups of the halls we've set up in.

We’ve had two great experiences using this bouncy castle company. They are flexible, knowledgeable about lots of venues locally (what castles will fit in which halls) and were great holding my reservation as payment didn’t go through whilst I was abroad! We’ve also found them to be really flexible on the day for pick up and collection and would recommend them.
Indoors or out in autumn?
Outside isn't ruled out in autumn, but the weather can change quickly. Castles can't go up in strong winds, and wet grass gets slippery. Our post on inflatables and the weather has more on this. A hall takes that worry away.
All our inflatables are RPII tested, and I test them myself.
