Cubbington Village Hall on Broadway, near Leamington, is a great venue for a children's party, with a hall of about 23ft x 47ft and good facilities. Standard bouncy castles fit well inside, along with soft play, front-slide castles and even fun runs.
Where does the castle go?
The hall has a stage at the back and a lighting rig in the ceiling, which affect where inflatables are placed, so we set up to work around them. We nearly always put the castle in front of the stage, a few feet out, as the wooden decoration at the top of the stage is just too low to go under, and the opposite end would block the main doors.

The castle we bring here most is the Disco Castle with Slide, and there's a write-up of one of those parties. Over other parties we've also set up the 3D Dinosaur, the disco theme castle, the Enchanted Princess and the Toddler Velcro Castle here, along with Didi cars, Happy Hoppers and walk and ride toys – the wooden floor is good for the ride-ons. We've been setting up in halls around Leamington since 2011, and this is one we come back to a lot.
Parking and outside
Parking at the venue is good, with about 20 spaces on site, some at the front and some round the back. There's a height barrier at the entrance to the car park, so taller vans will need to check clearance before driving in.
Around the back of the hall there's a large playground, which is handy for summer parties or letting children burn off some energy between play sessions inside.
