Our unicorn ball pool is a small pastel inflatable ball pool with unicorn artwork and air jugglers – jets of air that lift the balls and keep them floating. It's £75 to hire (£41 for a second day), for ages 2 to 6, and the balls are included. It goes indoors on a hard floor or outside on grass, and it needs a plug socket.
Where has it been?
We've set it up at a family Christmas party at Fenny Compton Village Hall, next to a bouncy castle, and at the Rosebird Centre in Stratford, where a post in the hall rules out bigger castles. It's also been to Heathcote Community Centre in Warwick with our 5ft slide and Princess Carriage soft play.
How much room does it need?
The pool is 6.2ft x 7.5ft and 5ft tall. It needs a space of 12.2ft x 14.5ft and 6ft of height, so it suits halls with low ceilings. The blower that runs the air jugglers is PAT tested every six months, along with the rest of our electrics.
A unicorn party
