⛅ Why Wind Speed Matters for Inflatables
Bouncy castles and other inflatables must meet strict safety guidelines — and wind is one of the biggest factors we monitor. According to the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), inflatables must not be used outdoors if wind speeds exceed 24mph (including gusts).
That means:
It might feel calm in the garden, but gusts can catch inflatables like a sail — which is why we check Met Office forecasts before every hire.
🛑 What Happens If Winds Are Too High?
If we see that wind speeds are predicted to exceed the 24mph limit:
It’s disappointing, we know — but safety always comes first. 💚

❓ Can I sign a waiver and still use it?
Unfortunately not. The 24mph rule is a legal requirement, and insurance won't cover any setup if we ignore it.
