Heathcote Community Centre on Cressida Close in Warwick, which used to be called Warwick Gates Community Centre, is one of the biggest halls we use. It's where we run our half-term kids' events, and it takes everything we hire, from fun runs to the adult castle.
For one February half-term event we had a fun run, the 3D Dinosaur castle, the 3D Superhero castle, the Green Combi Castle, a play zone with a 5ft slide, soft play, games and chairs for the adults, all in the main hall at once. Over 300 children came through in the day.
For birthday parties it's just as good. We've done a teenager's party here with the Multi Colour Fun Run and the football shootout, and plenty of younger children's parties with castles, slides, soft play and the Didi car track. Dan had the Green Combi Castle, a slide and the Didi car track for his daughter's 4th birthday:
The foyer connects to the kitchen and has space for guests to sit, eat and take a break, so it works well for food, cake time and the grown-ups while the children play. The centre has its own car park with around 30 spaces, and there are local shops right next door.
As well as the main sports hall, the centre has a meeting room and a church hall.
