The short answer? Yes – but only on grass. At Best Party Hire, we only set up bouncy castles outdoors on real grass. This is because grass allows us to safely peg down the inflatables in line with PIPA testing and BS EN 14960 safety standards. Safety always comes first, and pegging into grass is the most secure method.
Grass Only: We don’t set up on hard surfaces like tarmac, paving or artificial grass. Pegging into the ground ensures the castle stays secure and safe for use.
Flat, Clear Space: The area needs to be level and free from stones, sharp objects, or overhead obstacles like trees and washing lines.
Weather Checks: Castles cannot be used in high winds (above 24mph) or heavy rain. We always follow official guidelines and will advise if the weather isn’t suitable.
Public Fields or Parks: If you’d like to use a public space, you will normally need written permission from your local council before we can set up. This is to comply with insurance and safety regulations.
If grass isn’t an option or the weather is looking unpredictable, we also have a great range of low-height bouncy castles that fit inside most halls and community centres across Leamington, Warwick, Kenilworth and Southam.
So yes — our bouncy castles can absolutely go outside, as long as they’re on grass and properly pegged down. They’re brilliant for garden parties, school fairs, and community events, and you can relax knowing they’re set up safely every time.
