At Best Party Hire, your safety, satisfaction and peace of mind are our top priorities. These Terms and Conditions apply to all equipment hires, services and purchases. By booking with us, you agree to the following:


1. Definitions

  • “Best Party Hire” – Our company supplying equipment, goods and services.

  • “Hirer” or “you” – The person or organisation hiring the equipment.

  • “Equipment” – All items provided for hire, including inflatables, soft play, garden games and accessories.

  • “Admin Fee” – A non-refundable payment of £25 securing your booking.

  • “Balance Due” – The remaining booking amount after the Admin Fee.


2. General Terms

  • This agreement is governed by English law.

  • The contract becomes effective upon written confirmation from Best Party Hire.

  • Equipment remains the property of Best Party Hire at all times.

  • We may make reasonable changes to these terms without notice.

  • If any condition is deemed invalid, remaining terms remain unaffected.

  • Bookings are not transferable without written permission.


3. Hire Charges & Payments

a. Pricing

  • All prices include delivery, setup and collection unless otherwise stated.

  • Extra fees may apply for:

    • Waiting at delivery or collection

    • Unsuitable access or carry distances (75m+)

    • Last-minute changes to time, date, or location without agreement

b. Payment Terms

  • Admin Fee: £25, due within 48 hours of booking. Secures your date, time, and equipment. Non-refundable but can be used as store credit for 12 months.

  • Balance Due: Required 14 days before the hire date. Failure to pay within 48 hours of reminder may result in cancellation.


4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made by email.

  • Admin Fees are non-refundable but will be honoured as credit for up to 12 months.

Refunds on remaining balance:

  • 14+ days before event: 100% refund

  • 8–13 days: 50% refund

  • 7 days or fewer: No refund

In the event of Best Party Hire needing to cancel

If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g. illness, severe weather, traffic accidents) prevent us from fulfilling the booking, you will receive a full refund.


5. Hirer Responsibilities

a. Supervision

  • A responsible adult (18+) must supervise all equipment at all times.

  • Soft play and inflatables must never be left unattended.

b. Equipment Space & Access

  • The hirer is responsible for ensuring the selected equipment fits in the intended space.

  • All measurements and access requirements are available on our website or will be discussed during booking.

  • If setup is not possible due to space limitations, unsafe surfaces, venue restrictions, or obstructed access routes, this will be treated as a same-day cancellation with no refund.

  • Maximum setup access distance is 50 metres. You must notify us in advance of:

    • Stairs, narrow paths, gravel, slopes, or awkward surfaces

    • Indoor restrictions (e.g., low ceilings, tight doorways)

    • Limited venue access or timed restrictions

c. Use & Safety Rules

  • No shoes, jewellery, sharp objects or food/drink on the equipment.

  • Spectacles and hair accessories like Alice bands should be removed.

  • Inflatables must not be overcrowded and must be used by age/size groups as guided.

  • No party poppers, face paint, streamers, silly string or henna near the equipment – these may cause damage for which you will be liable.

  • No water is to be added unless agreed (e.g., water slides).

  • Equipment must not be moved once installed.

d. Weather

  • Equipment must not be used in:

    • Winds over 24mph

    • Heavy rain or thunderstorms

  • In poor weather, remove children and cover blowers to protect them. Only switch off blowers if instructed.

e. Slide Safety

  • One child at a time.

  • Always sit and slide feet first.

  • Do not climb or jump from slide tops.

  • Mats must remain at the slide base during use.

f. Equipment Security & Damage

  • You are responsible for the equipment from the moment it’s delivered until collection.

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged items must be paid for in full.

  • If equipment is inaccessible for pickup, a daily fee of £25 + hire charge applies.


6. Best Party Hire’s Responsibilities

  • We will:

    • Deliver clean, tested, and safe equipment

    • Provide safety mats and appropriate anchoring

    • Offer written and/or verbal safety instructions

    • Aim to deliver and collect at the agreed time

    • Provide refunds if we are unable to fulfil your booking due to our fault or unforeseen emergencies

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or financial loss caused by:

  • Venue unsuitability or restricted access

  • Delays or cancellations caused by external events

  • Improper use of equipment by the hirer or guests


7. Emergencies & Injuries

  • Keep blower vents clear at all times

  • If a blower fails, turn off power and wait 1–2 minutes before restarting

  • Call us immediately if issues persist

  • All injuries requiring medical attention must be reported to us within 2 hours, with a written account
